Filming Muay Thai is something I have been doing for a couple of years now and along with web design takes up a large part of my time. I beleive my Thai Boxing DVD's are superior to most other local competitors and I continually get a lot of positive feedback. I pride myself in only producing a standard that I would expect myself. It's a strange paradox but certainly true that if you have bad video footage but your audio is good then most people will find that acceptable, but with bad audio even a perfect picture will not hold attention for to long. In saying that I am certainly not condoning bad video, mine is filmed with a 3CCD broadcast quality camera in 16:9 widescreen, but all my fight shows have audio which is recorded using an external stereo microphone dropped down from the ceiling directly over the centre of the ring. This ensures perfect audio of everything ringside.
